Revamped Performance Management Strategy to identify the right capabilities for future success. 

Challenge

My client, a Healthcare Start-up in growth mode, wanted to enhance their performance management process to ensure they were maintaining a highly skilled workforce while staying accountable to goals. 

Strategy Plan

Over the course of 4 months I worked with them to map out their company vision, mission & values to tie back to their performance evaluations while also introducing core competencies companywide by dept/role.  I then helped to identify a new Performance Management System with key functionality that was missing and implemented a 2x annual review process vs 1x annually.   

 

Result

Client was happy with the newly implemented performance management approach which allowed the org to prioritize high performance, business alignment, OKR achievement and feedback accountability more consistently.  

Merger & Acquisition of a competitor and smooth HR integration of the two.  

Challenge

A global Marketing Agency was acquiring another Agency of the same size and I was tasked with ensuring a smooth integration across policies, people, culture and tools. 

 

Strategy Plan

The success of an M&A often hinges on how well the HR-related aspects are managed so there were critical steps I had to navigate with both orgs over the course of 6 months.  

- Company Audit: comp, benefits, contracts, compliance, employees, issues & challenges

- Talent Assessments: Key talent and key roles along with necessary skills & succession planning

- Development Plans & Retention Strategies

- Culture Assessment & Employee Value Proposition planning

- Documentation Library 

- Communication Strategy: identified stakeholders, multi channel comms, timeline and FAQs for Townhalls

- Training Programs with Compliance fulfillment

- New ritutals development of newly formed organization

- System & Tools assessment & harmonization w stakeholders

Result

We frequently monitored post-merger feedback via survey and live feedback (1:1s, Townhalls) to temperature check and readjust along the way.  By the following year, the newly formed agency was voted a top Best Place to Work per employee nomination which the entire leadership took as a Win!
